Blighty Foods tasked The Republic to give the fledgling Taste of Blighty brand a fresh identity, and design packaging for their range of super premium desserts.
They had us at Trifle Pudding.
Our intent was to create an identity that was accessible and appealing to both children and adults, and across demographics. Given that these desserts would be sold in smaller local stores and the name Taste of Blighty might be a mouthful for some, we fashioned a simple and likeable mascot as the face of the brand.
In addition, the fresh, happy colour palette brings greater inclusivity, and a sense of celebration, to the brand.
Taste of Blighty’s premium range of desserts have been designed to sit comfortably next to the finest imported desserts, and to stand out in India's most luxurious retail formats. The identity for this chef's-line brand exudes luxe, and is unique and impactful in its appeal.
