Golden Popcorn get a new look…..
Golden Popcorn is the leading manufacturer of cinema style popcorn in Northern Ireland.
Family owned and based in Belfast, the company supplies cinemas, supermarkets, bowling alleys, fun fairs and ice-cream vendors throughout Ireland.
In December 2012 Golden Popcorn approached Belfast based firm Paperjam Design to help them with the new packaging for their range of individually packed popcorn products.
Paperjam wanted to create packaging that was iconic enough that it could stand alone as the brand for Golden Popcorn. With this in mind Paperjam created a packaging design that gave a subtle nod to the traditional and iconic red and white striped old-fashioned ‘sweet shop’ style.
The new look packaging has been hugely successful, with Golden Popcorn becoming the fastest selling popcorn products on Tesco Ireland’s shelves, outselling many other national popcorn brands.
