Afsana Wines are Litchi flavored wines from Bihar, India.

The wine celebrates the love of Emperor Shah Jahaan and his queen, Mumtaz Mahal. The story was that the Emperor had fallen for the queen to such an extent that he wanted to show her that she would be treated no less than a King at his palace> To indicate her equal contribution in political matters, he sent her 100 bottles of a locally made wine which was prohibited for women to drink.

Hence the brand manufactures only 100 bottles annually and they are only sent by invitation to a few selected. Wine stalls for prestigious wine tasting events have also been designed.
