Looking to refresh its eight-year-old retail packaging and more clearly communicate an all-natural positioning, Bay Prime Seafood Company partnered with Murray Brand Communications to develop an evolutionary new design that retained key visual equities from its prior generation.
To accomplish this, Murray Brand designers reduced the size of the prior packaging’s large black display panel and replaced it with a soft, dappled image more supportive of a fresh and all natural product. The black information panel was then repositioned over the image and populated with new typography and key product benefits to improve readability. To add visual flourish and elevate the product’s perceived quality, gold accent bands frame the primary information panel while beautifully styled serving suggestions capture consumer attention with mouth-watering appetite appeal.
